Has more than 37 years of experience negotiating and advising companies on upstream and midstream oil and gas acquisitions, divestiture, operations, financing and related transactions and activities, focusing on upstream transactional projects in the far east and western Africa.
Holds a bachelors degree in history from the Louisiana State University and a juris doctorate degree from the Louisiana State University. Post doc courses toward an MBA and various industry training courses.
Is licensed to practice law in Texas and Louisiana, long-standing member of the AIPN, many industry trade groups, and frequent lecturer at conferences and meetings worldwide on international energy law and negotiations.
Has served on the Board of Operation Rainbow and traveled on extensively on medical missions serving children with facial deformities.
